Common questions

Is Immersive Navigation available in the UK? Not yet. Google started rolling it out in the US in March 2026 and has not given a date for the UK or any other country.

Can I use Gemini in Google Maps on CarPlay? Google Maps said on 21 October 2026 that it is rolling out everywhere Gemini is available. Google’s iPhone Help page still said it wasn’t available when we checked on 2 November 2026.

Can I see my Google Maps Timeline on a computer? No. Timeline is kept on your phone, and Google’s Help page says it isn’t available in Maps on a computer.

Is the Street View car coming to India? India is not in the list on Google’s Street View schedule page as of 2 November 2026.
